Sam “Moose” Morse isn’t just a world-class alpine ski racer-

He’s the embodiment of the mountain lifestyle that inspires outdoor and adventure-minded audiences around the world. As a ten-year member of the U.S. Ski Team, Sam has competed at the highest level of international alpine racing, including TWO Top-10 World Cup finishes and titles such as U.S. National Downhill Champion (2023) and World Junior Downhill Champion (2017).

Raised on the slopes of Sugarloaf, Maine, Sam brings an approachable authenticity and deep connection to the outdoor community. Now residing in Park City, UT, when Sam is not racing at 80+ mph, he is much more than an athlete — he’s a natural ambassador for brands that value resilience, adventure, and authenticity.

    2. Morse began skiing at age 23 months on the slopes of Sugarloaf

    3. Nicknamed “Moose”  for his solidness and Maine woods roots, he followed in his brother Ben’s foot steps to Carrabassett Valley Academy and then onto the US Ski Team

    4. The 10 year veteran speed specialist on the US Ski Team, first broke onto the world stage when he became the Jr. World’s Downhill Champion in 2017

    5. He now joins his fellow teammates on the US Speed team in seeking to be the first American to win the FIS World Cup downhill title

    6. As a Maine Guide, Morse’s outdoor pursuits also include whitewater kayaking, wilderness canoeing, rock climbing, camping and trying to keep up with his wife on the rink

    7. Pre-race rituals include parents kissing top of his helmet as in “kiss the lucky egg” from Cool Runnings, and always double fist pumps his ski technician before leaving the gate

    8. Morse is also involved as a speaker in CFO, a Christian Family Camp Retreat organization,  as well as running his own faith based ski racing camps each summer called FAST camps
